Aurora is conveniently located just minutes from the Denver International Airport and is home to a thriving business environment. The Anshutz Medical Campus houses the Iniversity of Colorado Hospital as well as the Children’s Hospital which combined employ a work force of more than 30,000.

In 2004 the city of Aurora was honored as the Sport’s Illustrated Magazine’s 50th anniversary “Sportstown” for Colorado due to its outstanding involvement in facilitating and enhancing sports. The City attracts more than 30 regional and national sports tournaments annually where many are hosted at the 220 acre Aurora Sports Park. Aurora also offers golfers a wide array of courses which include Blackstone Country Club, Heather Ridge Country Club, Saddle Rock, Murphy Creek, Aurora Hills, and Valley Country Club.
